Simon Klancnik is an assistant for Machine tools and Intelligent manufacturing at Institute for Production Engineering. He received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maribor in 2007. He is currently working toward his D.Sc. degree in the Laboratory of Intelligent Manufacturing (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Maribor) in the area of artificial intelligence in manufacturing systems. His current interests include use of neural networks, evolutionary computing and computer vision in the manufacturing systems. He is author of 10 original scientific papers and 16 papers at international scientific conferences.
