Fernando de Arriaga-Gómez holds a Doctor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Doctorate in Mathematics from the Universidad Complutense, Madrid, and a Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics and Computer Science from Stanford University. Since 1970 he has been full Professor of Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence at the School of Telecommunication Engineering, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He has supervised Ph.D. Dissertations and more than 60 Master/Engineering Theses. He has published 8 books/monographs and more than 100 papers in Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, and Intelligent Simulation. His research interests are: Intelligent Learning Systems, Knowledge Management and Multi-Agent Systems
