M. A. Wahby Shalaby received the BS and MS degrees incomputer engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1997 and 2002, respectively, and the PhD degree in electrical and computer engineering from Concordia University, Canada in 2012. He is currently a full time assistant professor at information technology department, faculty of computers and information, Cairo University. His current research interests include biometrics, image processing, pattern recognition, and computer vision.
