Weihua Sheng is currently an assistant professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Oklahoma State University (OSU), USA. He is the Director of the Laboratory for Advanced Sensing, Computation and Control (http://ascc.okstate.edu) at OSU. He received his Ph.D degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Michigan State University in May 2002. He obtained his M.S and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China in 1997 and 1994, respectively. He is the author of one US patent and more than 80 papers in major journals and international conferences. His current research interests include wearable computing, human robot interaction and distributed mobile robotics. His research has been supported by National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Defense (DoD), Oklahoma Transportation Center (OTC) /Department of Transportation (DoT), etc. He is a senior member of IEEE and currently serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering.
