Dr. Fayçal Bensaâli obtained an "Ingéniorat d’Etat" degree in Electronics from the University of Constantine (Algeria) and a PhD degree in Computer Science from Queen's University, Belfast (UK). During his PhD, he worked as a Part time Research Assistant at the Institute of Electronics, Communications and Information Technology (ECIT). He is currently a Post Doctoral Research Fellow within the School of Electronic, Communication and Electrical Engineering at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. His research interests are mainly in Design and Implementation of Digital Image and Signal Processing algorithms, Custom Computing using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGAs), Hardware/Software Co-Design, System on Chip and Computer Arithmetic.
