Prof. Dr. K.M.Ravikumar,Professor& Head, Department Of Computer Science & Engg., Ghousia college of Engg., Ramanagara has completed his B.E from Ghousia College of Engg., Ramanagaram in the field of Electronics & Communication, M.Tech from SJCE, Mysore in the field of Biomedical Instrumentation in the year 2002 and his PhD program under VTU, Belgaum in the field of Digital Signal Processing in the year 2011. He is in the field of teaching from past 15 years and he has published totally 15 paper, which include Six papers in the International Conference, Five paper in International journal and four in National conference related to his research areas. He is Member of various professional bodies which includes: •Life Member of India Society for Technical Education (LMISTE) •Life Member of Institute of Engineers- India (MIE) •Life Member of Society of Information Science (LMSIS) -Applied •Life Member of Bio-Medical Engineering Society of India (LMBMESI) •Local Academic Community Member – ICGST-International Journal At present he is guiding four candidates for Ph.D.Programs and working on Research project titled "Real Time EEG Based Brain Computer Interface Application" sanctioned by VTU, Belgaum under VTU Research Grant scheme(Amount:7.02 Lakhs Rupees, for 2years, 2011-13) His field of interest includes Digital Signal Processing, Speech Signal Processing and Communication System.
