Satya Sheel received his Bachelors (’68) in Electrical, Masters (’76) in Control systems and Ph.D. in Systems and Control Engineering (’82). Currently he is a Professor at the National Institute of Technology at Allahabad, India. He is a senior member of IEEE, fellow of Institution of Engineers (I) and has been India representative of AMSE (France). He is a reviewer for journals, conferences and books in control, instrumentation. His current interests are intelligent control of multivariable systems, PID controller tuning, embedded systems, process control, machinery health diagnostics and control engineering education.
