Biography:

Dr. (Mrs.) Jaya Sil Passed B.E. in Electronics and Tele Communication Engg. and M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering in 1984 and 1986 respectively. She was awarded Ph.D. in 1996 and presently professor and Head of the department of Computer Science and Technology of Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, India. The area of interest of Prof. Sil are Image Processing, Bioinformatics and soft computing techniques
