Dr. K.Manickavasagam received his M.E. Degree from Thiagarajar College of engineering, Madurai, and PhD in power systems (2010) from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. Currently, he is working as a faculty in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore, India. His reseach interests include Power generation and control and artificial intelligence applications in power systems. He is a member of the Institute of engineers(India) and life member of Indian Society of Technical Education.
