Ana Carolina Maldonado is a professor of the Department of Mathematics of the School of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences (FCEFyN) of the UNC and is an assistant research of the National Council of Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET). She received a Ph. D. in Mathematics from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC), FA.M.A.F, in 2003. Her research interest include algebraic combinatorics, mathematical morphology applied to digital image processing and image compression.
