Shigeru Yamamoto received the B.S, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 1987, 1989, and 1996, respectively. In 1989, he joined the Faculty of Engineering of Osaka University as an Assistant Professor. In 1994, he joined the Faculty of Engineering Science of Osaka University, and hen served there as Lecturer and Associate Professor. In 2007, he joined Kanazawa University as a Professor. His research interests included networked control systems, data-oriented controller tuning and human support control systems. He is also a member of IEEE, JSME, SICE and ISCIE.
