Manohara Pai M M received his M.Tech from NITK, Surthkal in 1992 and Ph.D. degree from Mysore University in 2001. He is working as Associate Director (Innovation Centre) MIT Manipal and Professor in the department of Information and Communication Technology, MIT, Manipal,India. Currently he is guiding 3 Ph.D. students in the area of Scalable Video Coding, 3D Motion Planning and Decision Support System. The 3D Robot Motion Planning Research Project is funded by AICTE, Govt. of India. His areas of research interest are Image Processing, Computer Communication and wireless networks. He is a visiting Professor to ESIGELEC, France. He has published several research papers in National and International journals. He is the member of professional bodies like IEEE, ISTE and System Society of India.
