Prof. Dr. Olfa Boubaker was born in Tunis in 1969. She received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1991 and the D.Sc. Degree in Control Engineering in 1995 from High School of Sciences and Technology of Tunis (ENSET) respectively. In 2000,she is graduated from National Engineering school of Tunis (ENIT) and received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2007, she received the Habilitation Universitaire degree in Control Engineering from National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS). Since 1996, Pr. Boubaker was a permanent visitor of Laboratory of Analysis and Architecture of Systems, LAAS of CNRS (Toulouse). She was, since 2000, in charge of the Automatic Control Teaching at National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (INSAT) of Carthage University where she is currently full Professor and where she manages a research group. Her fields of interest included distributed parameter systems, variable structure control and integrated many applications in biotechnology. Recently, her researches are focused in non linear and robust control for robotic systems and integrate applications in bipedal and humanoid robots.
